Frequently asked questions

Who am I actually talking to?

Carl Nahigian. This is a one-owner operation — the person on the fit call is the person who answers the phone afterward. See About.

Is this a PEO?

No. We set you up with full-service payroll and HR under your own EIN — you keep control of your company's tax identity, and your costs aren't blended into anyone's master policy. Payroll is delivered on an established national payroll platform with a US-based service team.

What does it cost?

Depends on headcount and services. You get one clear written proposal after the fit call. No teaser rates, and we don't quote insurance pricing on this site — coverage is a licensed-producer conversation.

How long does a switch take?

Most small-business migrations land in 2–6 weeks depending on state registrations. The cutover itself is timed to a clean pay period. Leaving a PEO adds the coverage timeline — see the PEO exit guide.

What happens to my workers' comp when I leave a PEO?

It ends on your exit date, because it was bundled into the PEO's master policy. We map that date and coordinate replacement coverage so nothing lapses — through Carl in the states where he is licensed (NPN 22289551), or through a trusted, licensed broker from his network elsewhere.

Are you affiliated with ADP, Paychex, or the other big platforms?

No. We're independent, and we have no partnership, endorsement, or referral relationship with any payroll provider we're compared against. When their names appear here, it's because our clients are switching away from them.

What states do you serve?

Payroll and HR: all 50 states. Insurance: Carl holds producer licenses in multiple states, and keeps a large network of trusted, licensed brokers in most states — if he can't place coverage himself, he'll connect you with a broker he trusts.

What happens after I book a call?

You pick a 20-minute slot on Carl's calendar and he calls you at that time. That's it — no form to fill out first, and nothing to send ahead. If you'd rather not wait, call (916) 360-2008 directly.
